Some of the young elite athletes who are currently supported by the Halo Sport Foundation met the Patron of the Foundation Rob Howley, one of WRU’s national coaches and – of course – as a former Welsh rugby union footballer one of the greatest ever scrum-halves who gained 59 caps for Wales, 22 of them as captain.
“I’m a Bridgend boy and know that developing local sporting talent is so important,” says Howley. “This Foundation supports athletes in a way that allows them to develop and to maximise their potential so they can be the best that they can be.”
